Grandcarers WA – Support Drive
Children’s clothing and non-perishables collection drive
As briefed at the recent General Meeting, the MCMS plans to collect children’s clothing and non-perishable items through the month of July – all the goods will be donated to Grandcarers WA, which is a community not-for-profit agency supporting grandparent carers. Grandcarers WA receive little support from the government and thus are reliant on donations from the public.
What we’re seeking to collect from MCMS members:
- Clean and serviceable children’s clothing of all ages, including shoes that are in good condition.
- Baby goods eg nappies, toddler items.
- Non-perishable food items – not lollies, chips, biscuits, fizzy drinks, etc.
- Toiletries.
